Got a Tip?

Fresh Images From ‘Out Of The Furnace’ Plus New Poster For ‘American Hustle’

Out Of The Furnace

It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, particularly if you’re a fan of Christian Bale. The man has hung up the cape and cowl, but has been staying busier than Bruce Wayne at the Playboy mansion. The actor has two movies coming in December, released within weeks of each other: the gritty midwestern crime drama “Out of the Furnace” and the glitzy, true story inspired con flick “American Hustle.” And some fresh looks have arrived for both.

First up, the Scott Cooper-directed movie has provided some fresh snaps of the cast, in the story of a man who has to search for his brother who gets mixed up with a deadly criminal organization. So we get a better look at Casey Affleck as the troubled sibling, Woody Harrelson as the big bad, and supporting folks such as Willem Dafoe. Meanwhile, the entire ensemble of “American Hustle” get the one sheet treatment, and while the movie still has no premiere date, perhaps this a clue: on Friday November 8th, AFI Fest will be giving a special tribute to David O. Russell. Maybe he’ll have something to give back to them?

Anyway, “Out of the Furnace” opens on December 6th and “American Hustle” on December 18th. Pics and more below.

  1. Both movies look very different from each other & look very entertaining!
Any movie with Christian in it, is always worth watching!
He is an amazing actor, very humble and does so much for charities!
He gives 500% to every character he portrays, so detailed… With voice, accents, mannerisms, body language and appearance!!
    Bravo to him!

  2. .."busier than Bruce Wayne at the Playboy mansion". That reference is not really applicable, as he has never been the playboying type in the movies. what was shown in the movies was a farce, and even then, it was never implied that he was getting laid. Now if it would have said "Tony Stark", that wouldn't feel out of place at all.
