Comedy is a subjective thing, I get that, but perhaps I’m missing the connection between "Deadpool" and riffing on a 1970s Playgirl spread with Burt Reynolds (NSFW image here, and warning, you can’t un-see it). But hey, it’s inventive and will get people talking.
Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, and Gina Carano star in the movie that gives the mouthy comic book character another chance at the big screen after the unmentionable "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." Here’s the official synopsis: Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
"Deadpool" arrives on February 12th. Check out the image below along with the film’s logo.
