Yes, celebrities get star struck too, but they’re not often actually struck by those they meet. But Ryan Gosling revealed he was on the receiving end of Harrison Ford‘s first on the set of “Blade Runner 2049,” with the veteran not making things too easy for his co-star.
“Yeah, he did [punch me in the face]. It was kind of, you know, a rite of passage. We were just doing a fight scene and, you know, it just happened. But what was funny was, when it was over, they brought ice for my face, and Harrison pushed me out of the way and stuck his fist in the ice,” Gosling told GQ. “I asked him the other day where he got his sense of humor from — was it from his mother or his father? He said, ‘Sears.’ And he didn’t have much time to shop around so he just had to grab one and get out.”
However, all told, Ford was an agreeable grouch overall, with Gosling telling EW he couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
“Harrison didn’t start working until a month into production, so we had a lot of time to just imagine how that might be, and waiting for that moment to come, and hoping that we were making something that would be satisfying to him,” he explained. And when Ford arrived, he got right down to business. “And then it was just unmistakably him — even in silhouette, you couldn’t miss it — and it was just such a relief. He immediately put everyone at ease and went right to work.”
“Blade Runner 2049” opens on October 6, 2017. Check out the new images from the film below.
By Looking at the teaser, you realize they nailed it the style from the first movie. I loved the throwback of seeing gosling touching the piano, and the bits of the original VANGELIS score, it’s like an homage from the original movie,
Speaking of playing the piano, I hope they can fit somehow Sean young, at least in the shape of a cameo or something.
