Here’s some good news. While Anton Corbijn has generally taken his time between films—three years passed between “Control” and “The American,” and it was four more until the forthcoming “A Most Wanted Man“—the filmmaker is already onto his next gig, currently in the midst of production in Canada on “Life” starring Robert Pattinson and Dane DeHaan. And yes, that’s the first look at the pair above.
The film tells the story of the relationship between renowned Magnum photographer Dennis Stock (Pattinson) and Hollywood legend James Dean (DeHaan), chronicling a road trip the pair took which forever changed Stock’s life. And Corbijn is excited about the project, and collaborating with these actors: “When I see Rob I see an inner turmoil that is great for the role,” Corbijn told EW (print edition, not online). “And Dane is really interesting. He has a beautiful face, but it’s a face to grasp. It’s hard to see how Dane reads [onscreen] sometimes, and the same goes for James Dean.”
No release dates yet for this one, but one wonders if the quickly moving Corbijn could have it done in time for the fall festival circuit.

I love this picture of Rob and Dane. I wish people would stop knocking Rob for every move he makes. He is not with Cronenbergs daughter. She is a married woman. Stop trying to make him look bad. I get the impression that the negative stuff comes from Rob's ex girlfriends fans. Its getting boring. For me, as a Rob fan I am very anxious to see Rob in a movie. It has been a long time since Cosmopolis debuted. I liked that movie and I really wa t to a new movie featuring To.
I'm a fan of both Rob and Kristen and as such I wish everyone would start looking at the individually and stop making everything the other does about their past or their future relationship. Rob and Kristen are bot very talented actors and it's time they be looked at such. I love Twilight and I love them as a couple but they both deserve to go on with their lives and be allowed to move on from the past. LET THEM… Dela…
You have to be joking…the photographer was Cronenbergs daughter, the one RPatz had a fling with while filming Cosmopolis? No wonder Stew threw him out. The rumors a few days ago were true then. He has connected with her again. I'm so disappointed in him. He was never faithful in that relationship and was a genius at keeping it a secret . Talk about cheaters…..what do you call this? He is scum.
