"You Can Count On Me" director Kenneth Lonergan‘s battle with the producer’s of his last film, "Margaret," would’ve been enough to put anybody off working on movies ever again, but the writer/director has dusted himself off and bounced back with "Manchester-By-The-Sea." In fact, it has already wrapped production, and with the movie now hitting the market in Cannes, the first images from the promising drama have arrived.

Michelle Williams, Casey Affleck, and Kyle Chandler star in the movie that follows a plumber who returns to his hometown after his brother passes away in order to look after his 16-year-old nephew and reconnect with his estranged wife, a secret from his past emerges.
No word yet if Lonergan will be done in time for this one to hit the fall festival circuit, but fingers crossed. [THR]

Casey Affleck\’s in the movie? No thanks. Can\’t act, can barely speak intelligible English, has Michael Jackson\’s "no" nose, and even his brother doesn\’t use him. I\’d give Michelle Dub a proper rogering, however.
