Last week six pretty badass new “Machete” character posters arrived online for our viewing pleasure. Featuring Danny Trejo’s eponymous Machete, Bobby De Niro as The Senator, Don Johnson as Lt. Stillman, Steven Seagal as Torrez, Michelle Rodriguez as She and Jessica Alba as Sartana, they helped kicked off the “Machete” marketing machine in a big way (though we’re still slightly puzzled that the film is skipping Comic Con).
Now, we have our first look at jailbound Lindsay Lohan playing The Sister. An official/unofficial poster also dropped last week, though curiously missing the film’s font and logo treatment, but we’ve included it after the jump as well. The habit-wearing, gun-toting The Sister seems to fall perfectly in line with the over-the-top characters populating Robert Rodriguez’s gritty exploitation flick and the awesomely random cast has us stoked for the film.
“Machete” will give bored teenagers hanging with their families something to escape to when it opens on September 3rd, Labor Day weekend.
