There have been quite a few new stills from “Thor” hitting the web over the past week or so, with each one looking cornier than the last, and yet another has arrived with Marvel hoping that something will stick.
We now have our first look at Destroyer, the enchanted suit of armor worn by Thor’s nemesis, Loki. And, well, we suppose it’s about as good we would expect an enchanted suit of armor to look. Frankly, it doesn’t look as nearly as intimidating as we figure a suit forged by Odin should, but then again, the “Cleopatra”-esque set its standing on probably isn’t helping matters. Anyway, maybe it will look better once we see it in action.
The Kenneth Branagh-directed film stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo and Adriana Barraza and will arrive in theaters on May 6, 2011.
