After sketchy set photos and first look images that teased rather than revealed, with the first trailer set to hit tomorrow, a fresh batch of new images from "Iron Man 3" have arrived promising both action and romance, just as the fans expect. And as Marvel honcho Kevin Feige explains, Tony Stark will be facing his gravest threat yet.
"While he is a charming guy, it is often hard to root for a genius billionaire playboy philanthropist because they seem to have it all," Feige tells USA Today. "In this movie, we are again going to see him stripped down more than we've ever seen him since he was in that cave, again with his back against the wall and with nothing but his wits to help him survive."
Using that brain power finds the head of Stark Industries upgrading his suit once again, with yet another feature to help him do battle when he squares off against Mandarin, though he'll have to work out the kinks first. "Now we see he's invented a technology that allows him to basically have the suit arrive to him anywhere at any time, piece by piece," Feige explains. "And it doesn't always work at first."
Only 24 hours or so to go until the first full trailer arrives for "Iron Man 3." Check out the trailer for the trailer right here, and see the movie when it lands on May 3, 2013.
Update: EW have revealed the first look (albeit shrouded in darkness) at Ben Kingsley as Stark's arch-nemesis The Mandarin. Take a look immediately below.
Does anyone else think there's too much gold on the new suit?

I'm still not sure what this story is doing on "indiewire". But oh well, times are a changing indeed.
Movies like these are killing cinema.
