From Anne T: An indie film soundtrack label Summer Adventure Club has launched and will be digitally release movie soundtracks.
“The ‘Humboldt County‘ soundtrack features an original score from iZLER, Robbie Williams’ bassist and co-writer, and original songs performed by two of the film’s stars, Fairuza Balk and Frances Conroy, while [the cheap teen horror] “Dance of the Dead” contains an Andrew W.K. song plus two covers of the Pat Benatar chestnut Shadows of the Night” by the band Layton; each version is integral to the plot. Emmy-winning composer Kris Carter composed the original score.”
Wonder what W.K. has been up to these days, we stopped paying attention long ago.
Producing the new lee scratch perry record and playing with the 77 boadrum constellation.

The idea behind this label is to create another revenue stream for independent filmmakers. By cutting out the traditional labels, there’s more room for the filmmakers to actually see some revenue.
And yes, Andrew WK rules!
