Did you already buy “The Martian” on home video back in January? Well, 20th Century Fox has a real kick in the teeth for you as barely five months later, they’ve got another edition of the movie coming out, and of course, it’ll feature more goodies than the previous version.
While the latest Ridley Scott movie frankly doesn’t need to be any longer than it already is, “The Martian” is now arriving in an Extended Edition, featuring a version of the movie that’s ten minutes longer (the package will also include the theatrical cut). This will now push the Matt Damon-starring survival tale to 154 minutes long, but to help you get through it will be a commentary track featuring Scott, screenwriter Drew Goddard, and author Andy Weir. In addition, there will also be some deleted scenes and featurettes.
