This summer has already seen Paul Walker re-team with Vin Diesel and take on a world of bad guys in the super-sized, smash hit “Fast & Furious 6.” But if you’re feeling the need for a bit more gasoline-fueled action, perhaps this smaller-scaled thriller will sate your appetite with the added bonus that you can watch it all in the comfort of your own home. “Vehicle 19” is coming to home video and in advance of its release, we’ve got an exclusive clip from the film.
Featuring a script from Mukunda Michael Dewil that landed on the Black List in 2010 (he also directs), the story follows recently paroled man, who finds the entire police force after him when his seemingly innocent rental car has a female “passenger” tied up and stashed in the trunk. She’s a key witness in a corruption trial, and he has to put the pedal to the floor to get her to the courthouse to testify. And as you’ll see in this scene, it won’t be easy job to get to her there, with cars and guns coming at them in equal measure.
Co-starring Naima McLean, Gys de Villiers, Leyla Haidarian, and Tshepo Maseko, “Vehicle 19” will hit DVD and Blu-ray on July 23rd. Watch below.
I really liked this, had some meat on the bones for an action movie. Not just your crash boom bang nonsense. And Paul was fantastic. very gritty stuff.
I watched this movie and i got one word and one word only to describe it: "Terrible". If you like watching Paul Walker driving a car then you should stick to F. & F. franchise, cuz this one makes 2 Fast & 2 Furious (the awful second part) look like a masterpiece.
