The concept of romantic dramas and comedies exploring the avenues of paths not taken, of decisions not made, and seeing where they lead, is not a new one. It’s also a hard trick to pull off, but the upcoming "Comet" manages to get the balance just right. And today we have an exclusive look at the film.
Directed by Sam Esmail, and starring Justin Long and Emmy Rossum, the story navigates between six different, specific time periods in the relationship of Dell (Long) and Kimberly (Rossum). Between breakups, reunions, conversations, and more, and touching upon themes of memory, this is a portrait of a relationship in fragments, and a film we called "original and inventive." In addition, it features some nice turns from both leads, and you see Long in particular shine in this sequence.
"Comet" opens on December 5th. Watch below.
