There are passion projects, and then there’s John S. Rad‘s "Dangerous Men." In production for nearly two decades, when it was released in 2005 for one week at Laemmle’s Monica 4Plex, it earned a mere $70. However, the film has since become a midnight movie favorite, and was brought back into the world by Drafthouse Films. Now gearing up to hit home video, we have an exclusive clip from the picture to give you a taste of the B-movie madness.
The movie kicks off when Mina witnesses her fiancé’s brutal murder by beach thugs, and then sets out on a venomous spree to eradicate all human trash from Los Angeles. Armed with a knife, a gun, and an undying rage, she murders her way through the masculine half of the city’s populace. But a renegade cop is hot on her heels, and the trail to Mina also leads him to the subhuman criminal overlord known as Black Pepper. It’s pretty bonkers stuff, and as you can see in the clip below it’s something special.
"Dangerous Men" hits DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, April 19th. Watch below.
