Why do kids want to live like celebrities? There’s no definitive answer to that question, but Sofia Coppola explores the mindset of that kind of youth in “The Bling Ring.” Premiering at the Cannes Film Festival before hitting theaters this summer, you might have missed the writer/director’s take on a culture obsessed with brands and fame.
