This expanded field is a head-scratcher. “Mrs. Maisel’s” Borstein could easily win again, but her Amazon Prime Video colleague Colman could use her Oscar momentum to give “Fleabag” a win just as easily. McKinnon is a two-time winner in this category and a third in four years isn’t out of the question. Plus, the latest season of “GLOW” arrived just in time to remind voters how impressive Gilpin’s performance has been on that series overall. And would anyone discount Goldberg taking it for the impressive range she displayed on “Barry”? If an upset happens on Emmy night it might be here. [Updated Aug 13]
