The mounting anticipation for Nicolas Winding Refn‘s “The Neon Demon” will soon come to an end when the film debuts at the Cannes Film Festival later this month. But so far, each peek has revealed a movie that could only be conjured from the director’s unique vision.
Elle Fanning leads the way on this one, playing Jesse, an aspiring model whose youth and beauty makes her the target of vicious envy from the beauty-obsessed women around her. And Karl Glusman, Bella Heathcote, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, Desmond Harrington, Christina Hendricks, and Keanu Reeves make up the intriguing roster of ensemble players around the actress.
