Not much of a reveal per se since we all know who Anna Kendrick is (we’ll probably see her next in Jason Reitman’s “Up In The Air,” but some know her from “Twilight”), but another day and another Edgar Wright post on his Myspace page showing us another cast member of “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World,” in Toronto.
This time it’s Kendrick holding up a picture of the character she’s been cast to play, Stacey Pilgrim, Scott’s Second Cup*-working barista and younger sibling. Yesterday, Wright revealed, among other things, some wardrobe for the film, including a Plum Tree shirt. Plum Tree being a now-defunct ’90s Canadian East Coast indie rock girl band that ‘Pilgrim’ creator Bryan O’Malley loved. He derived the title of his comics and his lead protagonist from one of their songs.
