Her partner and “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm, Megan Fox, Adam Scott and Kirsten Wiig are all on board and now, a regular standby in indie filmmaking circles has joined as well.
Ed Burns has confirmed with MTV, that he is in the film that will center on a pair of thirty-something best friends who observe the toll that having kids has taken on the couples they know and resolve to bypass that stress by having a child and then dating other people. “I play one of the characters that has kids, that seems to be doing a pretty good job parenting, even though I’m going through a divorce,” Burns revealed. “My love interest is the writer/director [Jennifer Westfeldt].”
Filming continues in New York City, with Mike Nichols and Jake Kasdan executive producing. A spring release is in the works.
