This totally, hot exclusive new image from Zack Snyder’s forthcoming “Sucker Punch” comes courtesy of Cruel & Unusual Films (via ComingSoon) and reveals that the film will finally put on the big screen the showdown every eight-year-old boy has long been waiting for and fantasized about….
DRAGONS VERSUS AIRPLANES
Yep, we always figured “Sucker Punch” was some sort of cinematic wet dream wrought from the mind of Zack Snyder and this pretty much confirms it. With scantily, leather and fishnet clad girls wielding weapons and the anachronistic robots-meet-WWI storyline, it seems Snyder didn’t leave any random childhood/teenage interests untouched.
In case you forgot the film stars Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish, Carla Gugino, Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn and Oscar Isaac and centers on a girl who enters an alternate reality with her friends and begins planning an escape from a mental institution where she was put by her evil stepfather who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. This leads to a whole bunch of shit blowing up.
Maybe the film isn’t as dumb as it sounds or looks? Guess we’ll find out when it opens on March 25, 2011.
