The rumors have been kicking around for the past week, but today it’s been made official: "Downton Abbey" will wrap things up after season six. So if you haven’t kept up with the drama surrounding the Crawleys, now’s the time to catch up with a furious, tea-fuelled binge watch.
ITV made the announcement today so you have plenty of time to prepare yourself. Of course, they aren’t letting a peep out about what we’ll see develop in the final run of shows, but for those of you in the U.K., this year’s holidays are going to be extra special: the last episode will air on Christmas Day.
"We can promise a final season full of all the usual drama and intrigue, but with the added excitement of discovering how and where they all end up…," teased executive producer Gareth Neame. So we’ll put it you: what do you want to see happen? Let us know below.
