This year has already felt like an episode of “Black Mirror,” so why not get the creator of that “we’re all fucked” series to come tell the story of 2020 in a way only he can? Well, that’s what he did for Netflix in the upcoming mockumentary, “Death to 2020.”

As seen in the teaser for “Death to 2020,” Charlie Brooker, along with his co-creator and producing partner, Annabel Jones, has created a fake documentary featuring some of the best actors on the planet telling the story of one of the worst years in recent memory. And judging by the footage, it’s clear that Brooker and Jones have their sights set on everyone from politicians to tech giants to Millenials to soccer moms. It looks pretty hilarious.
The mockumentary stars Samuel L. Jackson, Hugh Grant, Kumail Nanjiani, Tracey Ullman, Samson Kayo, Lisa Kudrow, Diane Morgan, Leslie Jones, Cristin Milioti, Joe Keery, and Laurence Fishburne. As mentioned, the film is created and produced by Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones. Al Campbell and Alice Mathias are the directors of the film.
“Death to 2020” arrives on Netflix on December 27. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
