“Tori et Lokita” is the latest project from the Dardenne Brothers after the release of their 2019 feature, “Young Ahmed.” That film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival and earned the duo the Best Directing award from the event. Prior to that, as mentioned above, the Dardenne Brothers earned two Palme d’Or awards for features “Rosetta” and “L’Enfant.” In addition to those films, they’ve received incredible acclaim for films such as “The Kid with the Bike,” “Two Days, One Night,” and “The Unknown Girl.”
It’s unclear when we might see “Tori et Lokita” debut. However, with a summer start date, it would appear the brothers have given themselves plenty of time to plan for a Cannes 2022 premiere and a shot at yet another Palme d’Or. We’ll just have to wait and see.
