Marvel has three movies coming this year — “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Thor: Ragnarok” — and they’re all still a little while off. But if you need firm dose of Marvel Cinematic Universe storytelling, tune into Netflix this spring, as the latest small-screen series will be unleashed.

“Iron Fist” will bring audiences the story of Danny Rand, who returns home after being presumed dead, and naturally gets into all sorts of trouble. And it’s safe to assume he’ll cross paths with Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, who he’ll eventually team up with in “The Defenders.” Here’s the official synopsis:
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
“Iron Fist” launches on Netflix on March 17th.
Did you forget about Guardians of the Galaxy 2?
