‘Creed III’ Final Trailer: Old Friends Turn Into Enemies In The Latest Look At Michael B. Jordan’s Threequel

There are a lot of questions going into “Creed III.” Can this franchise survive without Sylvester Stallone showing up on screen? Is Michael B. Jordan able to balance starring in the film with his desire to direct the feature, as well? Needless to say, the anticipation is at a fever pitch, and we’ll likely get answers to these questions when the film debuts in a couple of weeks.

As seen in the new trailer for “Creed III,” we get another look at the plot of the threequel. This time, we find Jordan’s Adonis Creed is challenged by someone from his past, Damian. This new challenger is bigger and driven by a mixture of revenge and entitlement. You see, Damian believes that he should be the biggest name in boxing and that chance was taken from him by Adonis.

The film stars Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Mila Davis-Kent, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad. As mentioned, not only does Jordan star in the film, but “Creed III” also marks his directorial debut. 

“Creed III” debuts in theaters on March 3. You can watch the trailer below.

Here’s the synopsis:

After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter who has nothing to lose.
