Got a Tip?

‘Crashing’ Season 3 Trailer: Pete Holmes Sells Out On His Road To Being A Successful Comedian

Comedian Pete Holmes is sporting a new jacket and some new confidence in the new trailer for HBO’s “Crashing.
“Crashing” follows sheltered suburbanite Pete, who dreams of a big-city career in comedy. But, when he finds his wife in a compromising position with another man, Pete suddenly finds himself homeless and frantically re-evaluating his priorities. As he attempts to find comfort in the New York comedy scene, the aspiring funny-man bunks on other people’s couches while learning hard lessons about life and himself.
In the trailer for Season 3 of “Crashing,” it appears that Pete is still struggling to make it within the comedy scene. While it looks like he still hasn’t been accepted by other comics, with the help of his new love interest, he may have a breakthrough soon. As Ray Romano says, “If it’s supposed to happen, it will happen.” The trailer’s got a bit of everything, including a “Little Dick Energy” joke and appearances from all of your favorite comedians; including John Mulaney, Amy Schumer, Jamie Lee, Colin Quinn, Emo Philips, Dave Attell, Artie Lange, and Chris Gethard… just to name a few.
Created by and starring Pete Holmes, with Judd Apatow as a co-executive producer, “Crashing” draws on Holmes’ own experiences as a comedian, presenting an inside look at the world of stand-up comedy.
This is one of many projects Holmes has going on right now. He has an on-going podcast titled “You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes,” and his second stand-up special HBO titled “Dirty Clean,”  airs Saturday, December 15.
Watch the trailer below. “Crashing” returns in January 2019.
