Got a Tip?

Could Anna Faris, Chris Pine & More Join Channing Tatum In The Ensemble Drama, ‘Ten Year’?

Actor Channing Tatum is reuniting with “Dear John” screenwriter Jamie Linden and teaming up with “Twilight” producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey for an ensemble drama called, “Ten Year.”

The story of a group of friends reuniting a decade after their graduation, Linden — who also wrote “We Are Marshall” — will pen the script and direct the film as well. Tatum will star and was also involved with the development process.

Evidently the script was written with several actors in mind including Jenna Dewan (“Step Up,” also Tatum’s wife); and related friends like Anna Faris and her husband, Chris Pratt; Chris Pine, and Scott Porter (“Friday Night Lights”). It sounds like a labor of love project and since these actors appear to be associates and friends, we can probably assume they’re willing to be on board if schedules permit.

And the start schedule, according to THR, looks like it will be in November, so it’s a matter of free time as no deals are in place for anyone yet. Next for Tatum is “The Vow” which he will be shooting in Toronto soon with Rachel McAdams. His next screen appearance will likely be Ron Howard’s “The Dilemma” (Jan 14, 2011) Steven Soderbergh’s “Haywire,” and then Kevin McDonald’s “The Eagle (Feb 25, 2011).”
