While there have been plenty of TV procedurals that have dived into the machinations of law and order, few if any have done it with the rigor and complexity of HBO‘s “The Night Of.” The network’s acclaimed limited series was one of the highlights of the summer, and as it hits home video, we want some lucky readers to get copies of their own.

Directed by Steve Zaillian, who co-wrote the series with Richard Price, Riz Ahmed and John Turturro lead the impressive ensemble cast (Michael Kenneth Williams, Bill Camp, Jeannie Berlin, Poorna Jagannathan, Peyman Moaadi, Glenne Headly, Amara Karan, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Paul Sparks and more) in the story that follows Pakistani-American college student Nasir “Naz” Khan (Ahmed), who lives with his parents in Queens, N.Y. The trouble begins when he takes his father’s taxi to go to a party in Manhattan, and what starts as a perfect night for Naz becomes a nightmare when he’s arrested for murder. The series examines the police investigation, the legal proceedings, the criminal-justice system and Rikers Island, where the accused await trial.
