If there’s one lesson to take away from this awards season, it’s that you shouldn’t count out Meryl Streep. Even though “Florence Foster Jenkins” was released this summer, the film has resonated into the fall, picking up four Golden Globe nominations and a pair of SAG Awards nods. And now that the crowd-pleaser is hitting home video, we want to give some lucky readers a prize pack including the Blu-ray and tie-in paperback.
Co-starring Hugh Grant and Simon Helberg, and directed by Stephen Frears, this true-story tale follows the titular New York socialite who dreams of becoming a great opera singer. While the voice she hears in her head is beautiful, to everyone else it is hilariously awful. Her husband and biggest fan, St. Clair Bayfield, is determined to protect his beloved Florence from the truth. But when Florence stages a huge concert at Carnegie Hall, he faces his greatest challenge to make sure her performance hits all the right notes.
