Oh man, forget the growly, permafrown of Christian Bale. Christopher Nolan, we have some casting suggestions for “Batman 3”: Russell Brand and Luis Guzman.
The latest set photos from the upcoming remake of the Dudley Moore comedy “Arthur” find Brand and Guzman dressed up as the crime fighting duo. As hilarious as the image is, we’re just glad to see the always awesome Guzman, who makes even the lowliest of projects tolerable with his presence. We don’t know the context of the picture, but it’s probably not a stretch that it’s some kind of costume party/Halloween scene.
As you might recall, “Arthur” follows a drunken playboy (Brand) who lives with his put-upon nanny (Helen Mirren) and is forced to choose between marrying for money or love. Greta Gerwig co-stars with Jennifer Garner, and Nick Nolte was in talks last we heard. You can head over to Collider to check out more photos of our costumed heroes.
It's from the opening of the movie. Brand's Arthur, as rich as Bruce Wayne, has bought himself a Bat costume and the Batmobile from Batman Forever to drive around the streets at night.
