Got a Tip?

Charlie Sheen & Lindsay Lohan Will Be Killed Off In Opening Of ‘Scary Movie 5’

nullQuick, can you name the people killed off in the opening of the four "Scary Movie" films to date? If you answered Carmen Electra, Natasha Lyonne, Jenny McCarthy, Pamela Anderson, Shaquille O'Neal and Dr. Phil, then this bit of news might be of importance to you. It will also be a spoiler as well.

After word of their joining "Scary Movie 5" emerged in the past few weeks, THR reveals that Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan will play a couple and both die in the opening of the upcoming sequel and franchise reboot, for lack of a better word, as Anna Faris wisely won't be returning. Of course, how they get killed will probably be under lock and key for now, but it continues the rather random choices for both troubled actors. For Sheen, he can add the role to his upcoming resume which includes "Machete Kills," "A Glimpse Inside The Mind Of Charles Swan III" and his new sitcom "Anger Management." For Lohan, she'll take whatever pays at this point, whether it's posing in Playboy or working for beans/respecrtability in Paul Schrader's "The Canyons."

The guy who directed "Undercover Brother" is making this, so the previously low bar of the series is likely even lower. And oh yeah, Terry Crews has joined the film for whatever that's worth. Production begins in September with a release date of April 19, 2013 slated.

  1. what a pretentious article..whatever..eyeroll.. i am fan of indie very often (if not always) critically acclaimed movies but i can enjoy light fun don't take themselves seriously movies, lot's of so called critics should get over themselves finally…even more when they don't have much talent themselves..you are not Jean-Luc Godard or François Truffaud working for Les Cahiers du cinéma Kevin !
By the way the Roman Coppola movie with Sheen (who has talent HIM!) could be very good.

  2. not that i'm at all excited for this, but I'm sure you looked up that Undercover Brother got pretty great reviews for an urban-spoof-comedy, right? just because the news is dreck, doesn't mean the reporting needs to be
