Got a Tip?

Channing Tatum Is Going To Have A ‘Bad Romance’ With ’50/50′ & ‘The Wackness’ Director Jonathan Levine

Channing Tatum

While we’ll have to wait until a yet-to-be determined date in 2014 to watch Channing Tatum wrestle with murder (or something) in Bennett Miller‘s “Foxcatcher,” the guy has no shortage of projects on the go. Next year it seems he has a movie coming every other month with the animated “The Lego Movie,” comedy sequel “22 Jump Street” and sci-fi actioner “Jupiter Ascending” (and may we point out the diversity of those gigs too) all on tap. And he’s not resting on his laurels as he gears up for another gig.

THR reveals that Tatum will star in Jonathan Levine‘s “Bad Romance.” Plot details? Sorry, none yet. However, Levine has carved out an interesting career thus far going from horror “All The Boys Love Mandy Lane” (finally released this year after floating in distributor limbo), to pot coming-of-age tale “The Wackness,” to cancer dramedy “50/50” and zombie romance “Warm Bodies.” And all have had twisted takes on relationships to some degree so we’d reckon that’ll apply here.

The project is over at MGM where it’s developing, so we’ll have to wait and see when it rolls and where it fits in Tatum’s ever busy schedule.
