If he’s not careful, Bruce Willis risks slipping in Steven Seagal territory, a once-famous action star now content to churn out one crappy action flick after another. Indeed, Willis has already released one movie this year, the already-forgotten-about “Precious Cargo,” and now he’s back with “Marauders” which will also fade from memory before you’ve even finished watching this trailer.
Co-starring Christopher Meloni, Dave Bautista and Adrian Grenier, and directed by Steven C. Miller (who helmed “Extraction,” that other Bruce Willis movie you forgot about), the story follows a bank owner who becomes the prime suspect following a deadly heist. Here’s the official synopsis:
When a bank is hit by a brutal heist, all evidence points to the owner (Bruce Willis) and his high-powered clients. But as a group of FBI agents (Christopher Meloni, Dave Bautista and Adrian Grenier) dig deeper into the case – and the deadly heists continue – it becomes clear that a larger conspiracy is at play.
“Marauders” hits cinemas and opens On Demand on July 1st.
