Got a Tip?

Bradley Cooper Set For Joe Carnahan’s ‘The A-Team,’ Denies Green Lantern Role?

Bradley Cooper is set to join Joe Carnahan’s “The A-Team” remake as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, according to IESB.

When asked about the rumor, Cooper warmly responded; “That’s out already!? Wow. Yeah… it’s Joe Carnahan’s. It’s very interesting. It’ll be cool. It will be cool to see what…He’ll make a great movie out of it.”

Cooper’s potential casting follows that of Common, who also responded positively to internet rumours, and Chris Pine who had previously talked up a potential role as H.M. Murdock in a reunion with Carnahan.

The rumor about Cooper may be helped by the fact his schedule may just have been cleared of a trip to Australia to do “Green Lantern.” Latino Review further reports that Cooper recently denied the link to the comic book franchise at a recent press conference. Cooper reportedly revealed that “there is zero truth to [him] being Green Lantern or even auditioning for it” and blamed it all on “internet rumors.” This would support the EW report that Cooper “came in and met Martin Campbell,” is “definitely in contention” but that it is “far from being decided.” Auditions and meetings are two different kettles of fish after all.

  1. That is a real possibility. The way I saw it but, if he’s going to play that card, why would he come out firing on a cold rumour about ‘A-Team’? I’m sure Carnahan doesn’t like his cast revealed as much as WB don’t. That’s just me but – in actual fact, I hope your right.
