‘Blade Runner’ Sequel Release Date Moves Up To 2017

The film has now be released on October 6, 2017, opening against an untitled event movie from Fox. Remember earlier this month when WB added an untitled "event film" to that date? Denis Villeneuve will direct the movie starring  Harrison FordRyan GoslingRobin Wright and Dave Bautista, with a script by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, and lensing from cinematographer Roger Deakins. Production starts in July.
