‘Big Little Lies’ Soundtrack Hits Vinyl & CD This Summer, Bonus Track Includes Song By Jean-Marc Vallee

“Big Little Lies” has an all-star cast and crew, with Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, and Reese Witherspoon starring and Jean-Marc Vallee directing, but what might have been the best part of the show is the music. With its mixture of soul, blues, and rock, the soundtrack has been a huge hit since it was released digitally. Well, fans of physical media are now in luck, the “Big Little Lies” soundtrack is soon going to be released on CD and Vinyl.

Released by ABKCO Music & Records, “Big Little Lies: Music From the HBO Limited Series” will be released on CD on June 30th, and on vinyl on July 28th. The CD will cover the same tracks as the digital release, but the vinyl is where you want to go if you want a little extra. The double vinyl LP version will have two tracks that were not included on the digital and CD releases: “Treat Me Nice,” by director Jean-Marc Vallee, and “It’s Now Or Never (Instrumental),” by Jean-Phi. The soundtrack has already ranked highly from its digital release, landing at #1 on iTunes’ Soundtrack Chart and #2 on the Top Albums U.S. iTunes Chart.

The series is based on the bestselling novel by Liane Moriarty and tells the story of three mothers in a seaside town, whose perfect lives start to unravel. Throughout the series, the music has always played a large part. Artists like Alabama Shakes, Martha Wainwright, Ituana, and Villagers all contribute to the soundtrack. Even ‘Lies’ actress Zoe Kravitz has a song featured.
