In 2013, the end of Walter White in the acclaimed AMC drama “Breaking Bad” arrived. Nine years later, and even before Walter’s story starts, it is the end of the beginning for Jimmy McGill, better known as Saul Goodman. “Better Call Saul,” an equally acclaimed spin-off of the iconic “Breaking Bad,” is to air Season six, its final season, in just a couple of months, and a new trailer has arrived.

Jimmy McGill and his transformation into Saul Goodman feature as many dark turns as Walter White and his transformation into Heisenberg, which even crossed into the real-world production of the forthcoming Season six. During filming in July 2021, lead actor Bob Odenkirk unexpectedly collapsed onset following a heart attack before returning to the show in September. Now, a healthy Odenkirk has a new memoir titled “Comedy, Comedy, Comedy, Drama,” just released on March 1st. Anyone as interested in Odenkirk as McGill can get an intimate behind-the-scenes of the actor.

For those still too attached to its assortment of characters to let them go, the streaming service AMC Plus is set to offer three short-form spin-offs around the release of Season 6 of “Better Call Saul.”
The first one is a continuation of the “Better Call Saul Employee Training Videos” series featuring Los Pollos Hermanos owner Gus Fring. The second is an animated prequel “Slippin’ Jimmy” about a young Jimmy McGill and his shenanigans with his childhood friends in Chicago. And there’s also a six-episode series titled “Cooper’s Bar” featuring Louis Mustillo and Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler in “Better Call Saul”) about a character actor (played by Mustillo) and the antics that occur in his L.A. bar between him and his regulars (one played by Wexler).

Showrun by Vince Gilligan, and starring Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, Michael Mando, Patrick Fabian, Tony Dalton, and Giancarlo Esposito, and with the return of Daniel and Luis Moncada as twins Leonel and Marco Salamanca from “Breaking Bad,” the sixth and final season of “Better Call Saul” will premiere on AMC and AMC Plus in two parts. Part one of season six begins on April 18th, with the second part arriving on July 11th. Watch the new trailer below.
