When Steven Soderbergh pitched the idea earlier this year that the final two episodes of “Breaking Bad” should be shown in theaters, fans collectively freaked at the suggestion. And while it remains to be seen if that happens, The Film Society of Lincoln Center recently made everyone want to move to New York City, as they hosted a week of free screenings of every episode of the show in the buildup to this weekend’s premiere of the final half of season five. Even more, they rounded up all the principal players to participate in Q&As and panels. Couldn’t make it? Well, here’s the next best thing.
Full videos of Q&A sessions with creator Vince Gilligan, star Bryan Cranston and the supporting cast including Dean Norris, Anna Gunn, RJ Mitte, Betsy Brandt and more have arrived online. We haven’t even had a moment to fully dive into it ourselves, but undoubtedly, this is a big treat for hardcore fans of the show. The conversations are extensive, covering pretty much everything you’d want to know….except how it’s all going to end, of course.
