Dear Gael García Bernal, Why? Why? Did you need the money? Did you lose a bet? Did you do it as a dare? Whatever the reason, you have shattered our little hearts by agreeing to star in this abomination of a romcom, “A Little Bit of Heaven” with Kate Hudson. Dude, you are so much fucking better than this.
The first trailer for the film has arrived and as far as we can tell, it’s a cautionary tale for women about how if you lead a guilt-free, pleasurable life fucking various men without all the complications of a relationship and if you are a vegetarian, you will get cancer. Or something like that. Regardless, this is another woman-who-doesn’t-believe-in-love-finds-love movies which should fly through theaters and onto DVD shelves in record time. But in case you care Kathy Bates, Peter Dinklage, Whoopi Goldberg and Romany Malco (not you too!) also waste their time in this. Oh yeah, also that asshole Caleb Nichol from “The O.C.” is in this too.
The U.K. will first be subjected to this movie when it opens on February 4th, while it lands in our theaters later in 2011. [/Film]
Yikes that one sheet. Gael Garcia Bernal is normally handsome but he looks like a young Mr. Burns from a live action version of \”The Simpsons\” in that key art. What were they thinking?
Wow, another great movie from The Film Department!
But surely it can\’t be better than their only other theatrically released feature, Law Abiding Citizen? Nothing could be better than Law Abiding Citizen.
Other than sticking both arms in a thresher, obviously.
I haven\’t seen the movie but I read the script and it was fantastic. Funny, heartwarming and very moving. I actually cried at the end. I don\’t think this trailer is very good but I\’m still anxious to see it.
I\’ve seen the movie back in Nov and it\’s fab. So, no clue what you are talking about. He\’s good, Kate was fantastic, the film was a tear jerker… Good job The Film Department for again making a great film. THE PLAYLIST, don\’t slam something, unless you have seen the actual film and seen him act.
