We’ve tried to take some time off from talking about “Avengers: Infinity War.” But we just can’t stay away. Whether it’s discussing the character “deaths,” future films affected by the showdown, or Thanos’s obsession with bubbles, we’re still talking about the Marvel behemoth which is now the fourth highest grossing film of all time. But now we’ll take a respite from the intense formalities of the film and change it to something a bit more cheeky.
Popular Youtube channel How It Should Have Ended can now cross “Infinity War” off their list. While always combining comedy in their videos, this particular addition offers some takes on specific plot holes. The video goes through five possibilities for how “Infinity War” could have ended. And the termination of part of the world’s population could have been avoided. Each take, ostensibly, makes sense – of course, fashioned in their usually glib take. Whether it’s Doctor Strange using his cape to grab the gauntlet then open a portal, closing it to leave only Thanos’s forearm or any of the other entertaining takes, they all are pretty sound, amusing and yes, sometimes ridiculous.
The solutions offered by How It Should Have Ended ultimately see Wakanda saved and Gamora brought back to life. But they also reveal plot points that got lost in ‘Infinity War’ like Wong missing for essentially the entirety of the film following the opening (surely he’ll be instrumental in ‘Avengers 4’). Here, the character shows up and saves the hidden world of Wakanda. And, of course, Thor’s poor aiming choices is also addressed. So with this video, we invite you to come for the plausible solutions to how infinity war should have ended, and stay for the witty writing.
