Jason Momoa is a man’s man — a bro’s bro, if you will. So, when he’s being interviewed about the challenges he faced when filming “Aquaman,” you better make sure you’re prepared for the realness. And that sincerity is on display in a new interview featuring Amber Heard and “My Man!” Momoa, himself.
EW asked the superhero duo what they thought of the costumes they wear in the upcoming film. Obviously, considering “Aquaman” is a superhero film, the outfits that Heard and Momoa don are skintight. And that’s where the major challenges come into play.
When the two actors were asked about the costumes, Heard gives the typical answer you might expect from a star in a $200 million film. “It’s a whole other level of functional art,” she said. “They’re so intricate. You have to move in it, you have to breathe in it, you have to live in it.”
Momoa, on the other hand, isn’t here for that sort of eloquent artistic speak. No, the man is all about cutting through the bullshit and giving fans the gory details.
“It looks like it’s easy to pee in that,” he said. “But really it’s not. And if you have the poopsies, it is very challenging. You’ve gotta be really good at holding it.”

There you have it film fans, the truth about superhero costumes straight from the horse’s mouth. Sure, they’re beautiful and impressive to look at. However, hidden under all those bright colors and incredible armor is an actor holding in his feces.
Last night, we started to see early reactions to the film, with some critics calling “Aquaman” the best DC superhero film yet. And honestly, there was no mention of how constipated Momoa looked or how he grimaced throughout his performance from holding in his “poopsies.” So, for that, we can only deduce that the actor is a class act and deserves all the love when the film hits theaters.
“Aquaman” arrives in theaters on December 21.
