“Revolting Rhymes” is the best of the bunch, but it’s length (29 min) hurts it in comparison to the other nominees. It’s almost a pick ’em then between a repetitive Pixar short (“Lou”) and a hand drawn short of basketball hero worship (“Dear Basketball”). Something tells us the Pixar brand wins out over the pairing of legendary animator Glen Keanne and Lakers future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant. [Posted Feb. 19]
