The Grinch, Jesus, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, George Bailey, Charlie Brown, Scrooge and now Harold & Kumar. The foul mouthed duo are hoping to become a new part of your holiday tradition with “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas” and they are bringing a mix of classic carols, party favorites and other oddities to get the mood right.
So just to get an idea of this soundtrack balances out, it’s kicked off by “It’s Beginning To Look Like Christmas” by Perry Como and then followed by “It’s A Weederful Life” by Kal Penn and Patton Oswalt. You see what we mean here? So for every “Sleigh Ride” by Johnny Mathis or “Have Yourself A Merry Christmas” by Bing Crosby, there’s a “I Told Her You Work For The White House” with Kal Penn and John Cho or “I Thought You Were Gay” by Neil Patrick Harris. To keep the atmosphere bouncing RZA delivers “You Lost Your Gangsta Grill,” Big Boi steps up with “Daddy Fat Sax” and hell, even Paul Oakenfold gets festive with “Carol Of The Bells.”
The soundtrack gets a digital release on November 1st, with the movie hitting theaters on November 4th. If would prefer the score by William Ross, that will be available on November 15th. Check out the full tracklisting below. [via Film Music Reporter]
