We were so cheesed off with the heavy-handed manipulations of “Religulous,” we forgot to post about the film’s soundtrack. The Larry Charles/ Bill Maher laugh-at-you-mentary came out in early October, but the rock/irony heavy soundtrack doesn’t come out physically until October 21 (yes, it was out on Itunes starting September 30). We don’t remember that much about the soundtrack, but who could forget the use of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” and the Doobie Brother’s “Jesus Is Just Alright With Me” (both featured in the trailer) and the use of Bob Dylan (give us a break, guys) and the Talking Heads in the credits.
We’ve also got the exclusive list of all the songs featured in the film that aren’t on the soundtrack disc. The notables include: “Christ For President” by Billy Bragg And Wilco, “Lovie” written by Tony Daniels, and “Walk Like An Egyptian” by the Bangles. Too bad we can’t find a sample of Apollo’s “Party In My Pants,” it’s ridiculously stupid and sounds like it was written and sung by Borat.
“Religulous” soundtrack tracklist.
1. Travelin’ Band – Creedence Clearwater Revival
2. The Birds And The Bees – Jewel Akens
3. I Ain’t Superstitious – The Jeff Beck Group
4. Wooly Bully – Sam The Sham & The Parohs
5. Almaredemptoris Mater -Voices Of Ascension
6. Jesusland – Ben Folds
7. Jesus Is Just Alright – Doobie Brothers
8. Crazy – Gnarls Barkley
9. Party In My Pants – Apollo aka Apollo Braun aka Doron Braunshtein
10. Yiddish Blues – Klezmer Conservatory Band
11. Highway 61 Revisited – Bob Dylan
12. I Think We’re Alone Now – Tiffany
13. Road To Nowhere – The Talking Heads
I’d like to see Bill Maher debate with Bob Dylan about God…that’d be fun. What a douche.

Does anyone know the name of the very last song in religulous? The one during his serious talk about revelation? its a very dramatic, operatic song. I personally want it for my collection, but have no idea where it came from.
Any answers would be much appreciated, I just cant find the answer on the internet. Its driving me nuts!
It’s called Fourth Degree, written by Klaus Badelt, performed by Epic Choral from Extreme Music (ASCAP).
Can’t find it anywhere (yet)
Anyone know of the title of the music that is played in first quarter of the movie around 25:55 — great guitar music!! . .. .before he hugs the pastor of ‘exchange minstries’? Been looking for it for a long time! Thanks!
anybody know the song thats played when it flashes to the gay pride parade ?
The guitar playing when Bill is speaking with the "ex-gay" guy is Gustavo Santaolalla's "The Wings". The theme from Brokeback Mountain; quite fitting, no?
