Got a Tip?

Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) Protests In Support Of Prop 8?

Looks like Bruno, aka Sacha Baron Cohen was at it again according to the Yahoo.

“Sacha Baron Cohen went undercover as his alter ego Bruno on Sunday by crashing a rally in support of a ballot measure that would ban gay marriage in California. “

Eventually, SBC was spotted and had to take off.

“When photographers and reporters realized who he was and tried to approach the star, members of his film crew tried to shield him, and he was eventually whisked away in a van. “

At least he wasn’t arrested this time. “Bruno,” the film (based on one of Cohen’s flamboyantly gay Austrian TV correspondent characters from the “Da Ali G Show”), is supposed to come out in May of 2009. ‘Borat’ doesn’t really hold up to repeat viewings, but the sheer outrageousness of its initial viewing will always make it a lol-fest we’ll be hard-pressed to forget.

Update: Video of his abrupt exit.

  1. I’m totally with u about Borat not being able to stand the test of time. Yes, it was very funny when it first emerged, but i recently saw Speilberg’s “Don’t Vote” propaganda piece with all the celebrities in it, and and the end, it had Borat say something about something and then, “I make hand-relief in my pants.” I cringed and thought, “Did that used too be funny, cause now it’s not.” It was like seeing an Austin Powers movie again. Guess it’s just too played out.

I will say that even before Borat the movie, I always preferred Bruno to Borat from the Ali G Show, so I’m really looking forward to the new film. Thing that worries me is, he must be having a hard time filming now that he’s well known….and i think the movie may suffer. Let’s hope not.
