It looks like Alfonso Cuaron‘s “Gravity” won’t be the only space bound, sci-fi thiller to get your pulse racing this fall. Just shortly after the Sandra Bullock and George Clooney-starring vehicle lands in orbit, another movie will looking to send your heart rate into overdrive, “Last Days On Mars.” And the first trailers are here to give you a glimpse of what’s in store.
Premiering this spring at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, the film brings together a pretty solid ensemble of character actors—Liev Schreiber, Olivia Williams, Romola Garai, Elias Koteas—to tell the tale of a group of astronauts, nearing the end of a mission on Mars, who discover evidence of bacterial life, but wind up getting killed off. Yes, there is a pretty strong nod to “Alien” here and we’re sure it borrows from other films as well, but if it’s done right, it still could be a good piece of popcorn. While we didn’t see it ourselves, buzz on the film was mixed, but there are definitely a lot of people impressed by Ruairi Robinson‘s feature debut.
The film hits VOD on Halloween and opens in limited release on December 6th. Watch the UK teaser and U.S. full length trailers below.
Not so keen on the Red Band trailer, but the Official spot makes it look quite moody and intelligent… So this looks a hell of a lot more like what I wanted/ expected from Prometheus.
my classmate's half-sister makes $65 an hour on the computer. She has been fired from work for 10 months but last month her pay was $20065 just working on the computer for a few hours. go to my blog—- http://cli.gs/90xpok7
