Today we’re introducing Clickables as a little experiment. Sometimes it’ll be short form news items, maybe some interesting or amusing video or something potentially a little less “written.” We’ll see how it goes, we look forward to your feedback.
With all the controversy around “Snowpiercer” at the moment and the battle between director Bong Joon-Ho and Harvey Weinstein over the cut that will get released in many international territories (see the latest update here), it’s easy to forget that the movie is a comic book adaptation. The apocalyptic film is based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige” by Jacques Lob and Benjamin Legrand, and illustrated by Jean-Marc Rochette. Now, no matter what movie cut arrives, you’ll at least get to the source material in English.
Titan Comics will release an English translation in 2014 and here’s the official press release along with a first look at the artwork and some sample pages.

Coursing through an eternal winter, on an icy track wrapped around the frozen planet Earth, there travels Snowpiercer, a train one thousand and one carriages long. From fearsome engine to final car, all surviving human life is here: a complete hierarchy of the society we lost…
The elite, as ever, travel in luxury at the front of the train – but for those in the rear coaches, life is squalid, miserable and short.
Proloff is a refugee from the tail, determined never to go back. In his journey forward through the train, he hopes to reach the mythical engine and, perhaps, find some hope for the future…
