Got a Tip?

David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler & Felicity Jones Join George Clooney In Netflix Sci-Fi Film ‘Good Morning, Midnight’

The fact that George Clooney was already attached to star in and direct “Good Morning, Midnight” is already enough information to make us excited for the upcoming Netflix sci-fi thriller. However, it would appear that Clooney has decided to surround himself with some great actors in the film, and now, we just can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve.

Variety is reporting that David Oyelowo is in talks to join Kyle Chandler and Felicity Jones in the cast of Clooney’s upcoming film. “Good Morning, Midnight” is based on the novel by author Lily Brooks-Dalton about a scientist on a remote Arctic base that is desperately trying to contact a spaceship that is on its way back to Earth.

Oyelowo is probably best known for his Golden Globe-nominated role in the Ava DuVernay film, “Selma.” He’s also starred in a variety of projects recently, including “The Cloverfield Paradox,” “Gringo,” and most recently, the Blumhouse thriller “Don’t Let Go.”

Chandler is an accomplished actor that will always be Coach Taylor on the hit series “Friday Night Lights.” However, since then, he’s shown up in films like “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Wolf of Wallstreet,” “Carol,” and “Manchester by the Sea.” Most recently, he was seen in the big-budget spectacle “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” and is set to reprise his role in next year’s “Godzilla vs. Kong.”

Felicity Jones is the Oscar-nominated actress that everyone remembers from her showstopping role as Felicia Hardy in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” Oh, just me? Okay, fine. You guys probably all remember her from films like “The Theory of Everything,” “A Monster Calls,” “On the Basis of Sex,” and of course, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

No word on when “Good Morning, Midnight” might arrive on Netflix, but with a cast like this, we’ll definitely keep an eye out.
