Geez, in the time it takes for you to get up and get your morning cup of coffee, James Franco has probably finished a role in yet another movie. The actor and filmmaker, who clearly doesn’t rest, has turned up in “The Vault,” a movie we barely knew existed. Even more, it’s on its way to theaters.
Directed by Dan Bush (“The Signal“), and also starring Taryn Manning, Francesca Eastwood, Clifton Collins Jr., and Scott Haze, we will admit the movie comes with a pretty nifty premise. When a bank is robbed, the manager unleashes an unholy terror from the a secret vault in the basement. But from there, this seems to play out like pretty much every other contained horror/thriller, except this time with Franco and his moustache, presumably from during the time he was shooting his upcoming series “The Deuce.”
“The Vault” gets unlocked in select theaters and On Demand on September 1st.
