If there has been a theme so far to the Donald Trump presidency, it’s been resistance. And it makes the timing right for “HHhH,” which details a WWII operation with the goal of taking down a ruthless Nazi leader.

Starring Jason Clarke, Rosamund Pike, Jack O’Connell, Jack Reynor, and Mia Wasikowska, based on the novel by Laurent Binet, and directed by Cédric Jimenez, the film will tell the true story of the plot to assassinate Head of the SS, Reinhard Heydrich. Here’s the official synopsis:
1942: The Third Reich is at its peak. The Czech resistance in London decides to plan the most ambitious military operation of WWII: Anthropoid. Two young recruits in their late twenties, Jozef Gabcik and Jan Kubis, are sent to Prague to assassinate the most ruthless Nazi leader — Reich-protector Reinhard Heydrich, Head of the SS, the Gestapo, and the architect of the “Final Solution”.
“HHhH,” also known as “The Man With The Iron Heart,” opens in France on June 7th.
