With a whitewashing controversy it hasn’t been able to shake, and not much buzz heading into its release this weekend, it’ll be interesting to see how “Ghost In The Shell” starring Scarlett Johansson plays with audiences. As we learned from “Power Rangers” this past weekend, anything can happen, and while the blockbuster manga adaptation could underperform, there’s another scenario where the moviegoers who turned out for “Lucy” show up in big numbers.

We’ll see happens, but Paramount Pictures is making a final push, releasing one more trailer for the movie, which highlights the action and the international cast (Juliette Binoche, Pilou Asbasek, Takeshi Kitano). Here’s the official synopsis:
